About the Role

Head of Operations – Fintech SaaS (London/Hybrid)

Ncounter have an excellent position for an experienced Head of Operations to join a market-leading fintech company specialising in cutting-edge web trading software used by global financial institutions.

This is a senior leadership role, where you will need to drive the operational strategy, focusing initially on Build and Infrastructure progress, with DevOps transformation at the heart of your early months core responsibilities. Later, this role will be expanding into wider infrastructure responsibilities, managed services, and the development lifecycle maturity. You'll need to lead cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams, ensuring scalable and secure delivery practices that align with business growth.

Key responsibilities:

Lead Build, Infrastructure and DevOps strategy and modern CI/CD pipeline implementation Oversee both on-prem & cloud, operational resilience, and cost-efficiency Evolve the managed services offering and operational support model Champion development best practices and performance metrics Build and develop a high-performing, forward-thinking Ops team

About you:

Proven leadership in DevOps, operations, or platform engineering within software environments Strong expertise in infrastructure-as-code, observability, and automation tooling Experience with cloud architecture and security frameworks (ISO27001/SOC2) Confident stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration Fintech background a plus
