Integration Specialist (Connectivity and Application)

This hedge fund, with a technology-first approach, is reshaping the global financial landscape through innovation and precision. They are seeking an Integration Specialist to join their Professional Services team, offering the opportunity to help shape the future of a flagship trading platform trusted by some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

As a Project Management-focused Integration Specialist, you’ll lead the integration of critical market data services essential to the firm's trading and research operations. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and project leadership, overseeing the full lifecycle of integration projects — from technical scoping and dependency mapping to delivery and migration. A background as an Implementation Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or FIX Onboarding Specialist would be highly advantageous.

Experience needed: • 7+ years’ experience in Financial Services. • Strong understanding of Linux OS environments. • Hands-on scripting with Bash, Python, or Perl. • Proven experience driving strategic initiatives within the market data space. • Ability to collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to scope technical requirements. • Skilled at writing and reviewing technical documentation (exchange specifications, migration plans, production runbooks). • Deep connectivity and application integration expertise. • Experience with FIX Onboarding (Reuters, Bloomberg exposure highly beneficial). • Ability to create progress reports, manage migrations from legacy platforms, and identify/resolving blockers. • Comfortable engaging directly with customers, vendors, and exchanges. • Proactive in identifying efficiency gaps and managing Jira kanban boards. • Familiarity with C++ or Python, Linux OS, CI/CD Pipelines, and broad asset class knowledge.

This role involves close collaboration with internal developers, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure robust market data connectivity and seamless application integration for trading and research operations across the firm’s global platform.
