3–6 months | London or Remote with travel Contract: Palantir Engineer – Defence Data Programme

Ncounter are supporting a major MOD data and applications modernisation initiative. This programme underpins mission critical decision making and requires multiple DV Cleared Palantir Engineers to strengthen an existing engineering capability and accelerate delivery across several concurrent workstreams.

The Role You will be responsible for building and enhancing SEQ based applications within the Palantir ecosystem, developing workflows, forms, and data models that reflect operational processes and user needs. Working closely with internal teams and a specialist third party supplier, you will shape ontology design, contribute to platform documentation, and support wider engineering decisions that improve how data is structured, accessed, and utilised across secure environments. One position requires three days per week in London, while additional roles offer predominantly remote working with occasional on-site commitments.

Key Skills and Experience • Active DV clearance (essential) • Strong background in Palantir engineering across SEQ, application workflows, forms, and ontology development • Experience turning complex requirements into usable data models, structured workflows, and well documented design outputs • Ability to collaborate with multiple technical and non technical stakeholder groups, including user communities and external suppliers • Delivery experience within Defence, National Security, or other highly regulated environments • Confident communicator able to document decisions and explain design choices clearly

Why Apply? This is a high priority Defence programme with meaningful impact and long term potential. You will work alongside capable engineers and delivery specialists, contributing directly to the creation of data driven applications that support critical outcomes. The contracts offer strong extension opportunities, flexibility in working arrangements, and the chance to work on capability that genuinely matters.
